Autamarocchi was established in 1986 from the years of experience of the companies that created it (Auta and Marocchi), and immediately became a point of reference in the logistics market thanks to a network of branch offices in leading ports and areas of production and consumption in Italy.

Hundreds of vehicles, thousands of shipments to be coordinated, organised and controlled, while respecting all of today’s requirements: from tracking of the shipment and goods to permits and SISTRI, CER, ADR, HACCP licences, from tip-up trucks to the generators powering reefer containers, from the best route to follow to the optimisation of fleet use to avoid empty mileage.

Our logistics solutions lead to such specialisation as daily area-area connections (north-south, east-west in Europe), which are open also to a groupage service.

A wide range of services are available for full truckloads, with 13.60 curtain siders of tautliner-tir-sidewall trailer type, equipped where necessary with coil - pedestal trailer and Joloda, articulated lorries with skip loaders and hydraulic rails, trucks with cranes.

In the container traffic sector, Autamarocchi was the first company in Italy to introduce multifunctional semi-trailers for transporting all sorts of containers, from 20’ to 45’ and high cubes, and also tractor units with gen. sets for transporting reefer containers or tip-up trailers.

Autamarocchi’s core business has also led to the seeding of other companies for activities associated with container terminals, the transformation and sale of pre-owned containers, Distriparks and port services in Trieste, Genoa, Venice and the Portogruaro freight village.

The company mission pursues the integration of haulage with other aspects of the supply chain and believes in a relationship of partnership with its customers to identify the best tailor-made solutions.

Autamarocchi has a direct presence in Italy in Trieste, Gorizia, Portogruaro (VE), Venice, Padua, Milan, Genoa, La Spezia, Livorno, Terni, Racconigi (CN) and abroad in Koper (SLO), Budapest (H), Salzburg (A), Bratislava (SK). Thanks to its partners and correspondents, it operates throughout the rest of Europe.

Logistics Services, with a strong specialisation in port and freight village “Distripark”. The Autamarocchi group offers logistics services that are completely integrated with the road haulage and intermodal shipping of goods.

The District Park activities are concentrated in the ports of Trieste, Venice and Genoa. In Trieste, Autamarocchi operates directly and also through its subsidiary company, Adria Distripark S.r.l., working with the “TMT” Container Terminal on Pier VII. In Genoa, it operates through its subsidiary, C.S.M. S.p.A.

The activities undertaken involve merchandise being both imported and exported by sea, with goods depots both in the destination countries and in Italy. The company handles customs procedures, VAT deposits, the packing and emptying of goods in containers, the lashing of exceptional loads on open top and flat containers and the operation of Mafi tractors for RoRo traffic.

CSM and Adria Distripark are true terminals behind the piers. They are expert in the handling and moving of goods for modal shipping and packing. They specialise in non-ferrous metals, coffee, cocoa and various types of machinery, and their services are aimed at both other port terminals, freight forwarders and industry.

The “freight village” activities are localised in Trieste and at Portogruaro (VE). “Portogruaro Interporto S.p.A.” operates at the Portogruaro site. Here, the activities differ to those in the ports through the extension of the services to road and (above all) railway transport.
Complete intermodal: from container to lorry to train for merchandise often originating in the Far East and with destinations as far as Russia.

Portogruaro Interporto annually receives and sends out thousands of railway wagons, both in mixed traffic and in complete round trips. These activities can make use of large stacking areas, 8 railway sidings, the transhipment of goods effected directly, cranes and pick-and-carry cranes for moving swap bodies and containers, plus large warehouses for storage of merchandise.

Autamarocchi has has added some specialisations to the intermodal activities in the field of “Integrated Logistics”, with intensive, mapped warehouses, picking with bar-code readers, packaging and distribution of goods throughout Italy and groupage and full truckload shipping throughout Europe.
